Suggestions needed!
Okay bloggers, I need your help! I'm participating in a craft fair next weekend and I am in desperate need of St. Nick gift ideas. So far I have little stamped "books" filled with Tic Tacs. I also have some paper purses that hold candy. Unfortunately, I just can't seem to get into the Christmas spirit, so I'm really struggling with ideas. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Meanwhile, I guess I will keep looking at other's blogs for inspiration:)

Happy Friday and Layouts2Love
Happy Friday and Halloween everyone! Life has been busy, but since my work computer crashed I got the day off! Hippeeeeey:D That means I get to lock myself in my craft room all weekend:)
Today I would like to share with you a couple layouts featuring one of my latest products, Quickie Vellum Sentiments.
Today I would like to share with you a couple layouts featuring one of my latest products, Quickie Vellum Sentiments.
This first one is a 6x6 layout of my niece. I don't know about you, but I always struggle with cute sayings to include on my layouts. I love to coordinate the sayings with the picture. This is what's so awesome about Quickie Vellum Sentiments. They are sold by theme, like Birthdays, and each one is printed on vellum in a different font. You can use them as is, cut them to size, or (my favorite) tear the edges. For this one I attached them with eyelets.
This one is a 12x12 layout which shows the vellum torn and simply held by picture clasps. If it ever stops raining I need to get outside and take a beautiful fall picture to compliment this layout:)
Enjoy your day!

Did you miss my Hangover?
That would be my "Monday Morning Crafters Hangover". Unfortunately, the only thing I did with my crafts this weekend was move them. My oldest moved out so I finally will have an entire room to take over with ALL of my crafting supplies. But....that means lugging everything upstairs:( Let's just say Mr. Ibuprofen and I have become close buddies this week;) To top it off, we are working on a really large project on a tight deadline this week at work, which means I won't be able to get my hands dirty for awhile:(pouting now).
I guess since I don't have a hangover to share with you this week, we need some CANDY!
These Quickie Sentiments come in an attractive (reusable), handmade envelope, and the sentiments work great for both scrapbookers and cardmakers. I hope you will get the chance to play with them:)
Have a GREAT week!
I guess since I don't have a hangover to share with you this week, we need some CANDY!
If you would like to win one of my new handmade paper flower packs, just leave me a comment on today's post. To double your chances, mention my giveaway on your blog or website with a link back here. That's it. I will pick the winner at the end of the week.
As an added bonus, if at least 5 new Followers join my blog this week, I will ALSO giveaway a set of my Handmade Vellum Quickie Sentiments. This is a packet containing numerous pieces of vellum with preprinted sentiments. Choose between "Birthday" or "Chocolate" for your sentiment theme. But, remember, if we can't get just 5 new people to follow my blog, then we will be sticking with just the paper flower pack giveaway. I will be featuring projects using these vellum sentiments later this week.
Have a GREAT week!

Yippeee!!! It's Friday!
Now, I do love my new job, but.....I LOVE FRIDAYS! There's just something about the excitement that going into the weekend brings. Even when I was unemployed, I LOVED FRIDAYS!
Speaking of what I love...I LOVE to make flowers! This one is made with grungepaper, alcohol inks, and vintage book papers. I've been on a flower-making frenzy, so, I have put them up for sale on my Etsy Shop, if you care to take a peek:D
Have a great weekend!

Layouts2Love
Before I started cardmaking, I was in love with scrapbooking. 12x12 layouts are my favorite because I need as much real estate as possible:D Plus, I just love the look of a 12x12 layout. Unfortunately, I don't always make the time to
This is one of my favorites that I made for a class I taught last year. These bright colors just pop against a black background.
Enjoy your Thursday!

Hump Day Quickie!
I love to make my own flowers. So, when I'm in the mood I make a bunch and then store them away for when I need them. This lends itself nicely to whipping up a quick card. For this one I used SU cardstock in Mambo Melon, tore a piece of Basic Grey designer paper and inked the edges with Distressed walnut alcohol ink. Attached a piece of lace and my handmade card.
If you are interested in some of my handmade flower stash, I just put some up for sale in my Etsy store:D Update: I had some camera issues and therefore haven't put my new handmade flower stash in my Etsy store just yet. It should be there by Thursday morning:)

Tootin' Tuesday
I spend quite a bit of time online. In doing so, I don't just look at the same websites and blogs every day. Instead, I love to stretch my knowledge and experiences. So, I've decided to share my journey with each of you every Tuesday. Hence, "Tootin' Tuesday"; the day of the week that I will be tooting my horn for someone elses website or blog.
This week I'm tootin' for Vicki Parson at Stamped Smiles. Vicki is one of the first bloggers that I found when I started searching out papercrafting sites. On average, Vicki posts something new every day! She is a natural at teaching techniques, tips and tricks. What's not to love about such a generous, upbeat, talented crafter! If you haven't had the chance to get to know Vicki, please stop by her blog, Stamped Smiles, and tell her I say "hi"!

My Style
Ever since I decided to discontinue my SU demonstratorship I notice that I have been enjoying my crafting so much more. I think it's because when you are trying to create with someone else's ideas and style, you don't get to truly create in your own style. So, today's card is an example of Linda Barutha Designs style. Enjoy:D
